So here’s the story: Cesar and I were going to get Chipotle and see Black Swan on Christmas Eve. When we got to Chipotle at 6th Avenue and 14th Street, we were greeted by a locked door and a sign stating the restaurant would be closed from 3pm on the 24th until the 26th. It was 3:15. I had the bright idea to try Qdoba on 8th Avenue and whatever the cross street was. Of course, between 14th Street and Qdoba resides the pet store I pass regularly that showcases irresistible puppies. Though I’ve always been good at practicing self restraint when I passed this shop, circumstances were working against me: Qdoba was also closed and there was a “$300.oo off every puppy!” sign in the window. Cesar and I were not strong enough to avoid the tractor beam that must have been emanating from Citi Pups. We left once, but after much deliberating over Mexican food we returned.
That’s how we came to be puppy owners. So here’s a silly video of what might keep me from blogging for a little while.
